Something about this bothers me. This guy seems like he's enjoying using his kids in his personal crusade. Like the part where the girl wrote about being rewarded for getting rid of
religious music "with candy, pizza, cinnamon sticks, and French fries."

I think that he needs to get real. If he thinks that merely singing (or even listening to) a religiously based Christmas song is going to convert his kids, well -- he is wrong. It's the same attitude of the fundies who don't want to expose their children (or themselves, it seems like) to any other religion (or non-believers), because they are afraid their kids might get contaminated. (My opinion -- if their belief is that weak, maybe they need to think things through.) I grew up in an agnostic family, sang Christmas carols - and enjoyed it - but never really gave it any religious/supernatural thought. They were just songs, helped me get in the holiday spirit, along with baking cookies. (We celebrate Christmas, but in a secular manner.)
