Has anybody seen this show on MTV? "My Super Sweet Sixteen"

I don't often watch M-TV, but happened to be flipping through the channels, and saw the title to this show, and pulled up the description. Having been a caterer (and having a daughter) I thought it might be neat to watch.

My husband was laughing at me about an hour later because I was screaming at these girls on the TV. This has got to be the biggest bunch of spoiled rotten brats I have ever seen! They verbally trash their parents, seem to think they are owedwhatever they want, and are just downright RUDE!!!

Hubby kept asking me why I was still watching it, and I had no real answer except for disbelieveing outrage? (David called it "irritainment" LOL). I just kept thinking it couldn't be for real, and it kept getting worse.

Ok - that's my rant for today, but my daughter better not ever think she's getting a party like these!!!

LOL, I love the phrase "irritainment." I got sucked in watching it one time and had a similar reaction. How miserable those girls must be to rule the roost at such a tender age. Children need boundries and it's clear most of those young ladies have never encountered any in their short lives. Just goes to show, I guess, that money can't buy happiness.

I love the phrase "irritainment" !

We don't have cable so I have never seen it. It sounds awful, though! What a fearful, sad life to have no clear boundaries and no way to feel safe but to control anyone and everything around them. frown
