Honestly?

I am unabashedly appalled at the blandness of the UN Secretary-General's response to both Tibet and Darfur. I do not interpret silence as diplomatic, but rather assent.

Better would be some honesty which would at least demonstrate a conscious ability to move some dialogue around. By not saying a word, Ban has said it all.
