I love grinding my own beans, especially since coffee doesn't stay fresh all that long. The taste makes you want to never go back to buying ground.

That is so true JoanJ. The smell alone is intoxicating.

I wish i had time to grind my own. About 10 years ago I worked in a coffee shop in a rich area of town. The lady who owned the place had a huge roasting machine in the front room where customers sat to eat and drink. I used to LOVE walking in the shop on the mornings she roasted! The smell was heavenly.

Hi Jeanette!

Yes, that's why pre-ground coffee has its place. Some people don't even have time to make a cup let alone grind beans.

Now you know I love a good cup of coffee, and I like it strong too. The answer is yes, I do grind my own beans. Wish I could roast my own coffee! heehee!

I was just stopping by to say hello and to have a cup of coffee with you, although it's afternoon, and if I do coffee now, it will have to be iced - it's much too hot for anything else.

How about you Gayle, do you grind your own beans?

Hi DawnEagle!

I used to. I have the basic grinder and I did it at home and on the job. I am considering upgrading to a better grinder since I am a lifetime coffee drinker.

I may be having a bit of iced coffee myself today. Have to hit the supermarket so I'll need a little boost.

Thanks for stopping by!
