Thanks for pointing this out. It's really good to see other opinions from Jewish communities about Israel, because it's not a straight-forward issue.

It was strange for me to see Jewish are so love Iran as same as other Iranian.
Frankly if I had this offer whether I�m Persian, surly consider about it.

Three years ago I met an Iranian who lived in Atlanta USA. I asked him about situation there and wanted to know if there are some facilities for Iranian. He told me there is a school for learning Persian language but less Persian children went there to learn but all the Iranian Jews sent their children in that school. On that time it was hard for me to accept it.
Last summer I went to Armenia and have seen there several Armenian-Iranian families that insisted to account as Iranian. I guess who born in a land, feel obligation to that land, isn�t it?

Well, although most of the news media I see talks about Israel and Zionism as if they and Judaism are all equivalent, there are a number of Jews (generally Orthodox Jews) who strongly believe that building a Jewish state is against their religion, because when God decreed the Diaspora (ejection of Jews from the Jewish state in Palestine) he set some guidelines for when it would end and essentially HE, not humans, has to make the first move.

Also, from what I hear, Israel isn't always a comfortable and welcoming experience for non-European Jews. Besides, even though there are "wars and rumors of wars" in Iran - it still sounds safer than Israel....
