Hi,
I am making a 60" round tablecloth using size 10 thread and a size 7 hook. (Don't know if that matters for my questions or not, but it might.) It's a Pineapple and Spiderweb design from Celt's Vintage Crochet.
Question 1: I got to about round 45 before I realized I messed up...on round one! I really don't want to take it out, so I am trying to figure out a way to fix it.
Here is round 1:CH 10, join to form ring, CH 11, 1 TR into ring, * CH 7, 1 TR into ring; repeat from * 5 more times, CH7, SS in 4th stitch of CH 11 at beginning of round.
I am not sure how I did it, but I wound up repeating from * 6 more times!

So, I have an extra pattern repeat throughout the entire tablecloth. Do you think I could replace the original ring with a larger one (like a CH 14 ring) and then (carefully) cut out the original one and tie it off? I just hate the idea of having to undo the entire thing and start over.
Question 2: It also doesn't seem like it is going to make it to being 60" round. Any suggestions on how I might extend the pattern so that it will be large enough?
Thanks!
