Everyone has their own reaction to this sort of thing. It's not like we have anything to do with it, we just are shocked that it happened. I know if this were to happen within your own family it would change your reaction. The first thought is to be mad, especially when a child is murdered. It is one of the most senseless things, but no one will ever know what caused Chris to snap, except the good Lord, and He will deal with Chris. I just want to send my prayers to the family's of Chris & Nancy.

& honestly, there are usually diferences between the wrestler & the person, but I've heard NOTHING but good things about the person. While I agree it is completely heartless & awful for ANYONE to kill a child, I still don't believe he could've had the will to do it. Snapped or not! Anyhow, that's all I'm putting into this.

DPU, you have expressed how much of a big fan you are of Benoit and of course you already know that you are not the only one. It's pretty cut and dry that he did what he did. It's time to find a new hero, DPU. Stick with Bret Hart I guess

Chris Benoit was a great wrestler and thats it. His son was mentally retarded and Chris and Nancy fought all of the time about his child care. She even told Chris that he needed to reduce his wrestling schedule so he can help care for the boy.

He didn't snap and it wasn't 'roid rage. It was methodical. He put his knee into the small of Nancy's back and choked the life out of her. The next morning, he put his son in a chokehold and killed himm. He then placed Bibles next to their bodies and spent some time in the house with them before ending his own life.

If he had snapped or it was roid rage, he would have just beaten them to death. He was planning something from jump street because the text messages from his phone to Magnum T.A. and others said that his wife and son were ill from food poisoning and then the next message he sent later on was that she was coughing up blood. Then he sent one saying that he and Nancy were in the hospital with their son.

It sounds like he was already trying to plan his alibi. He didn't snap. He planned these deaths out and then decided to take his own life using his universal weight set. He even removed the pull down bar so it wouldn't get in his way.

I am sorry if I offended anyone but that coward has offended me and there is no chance for him to apologize for that.

There was no way that someone else did this to the family over the period of three days that it happened. He did it and I am very upset with him and now in my book, he is just another murdering loser.

I apologize for my harshness but I have no respect for him for doing what he did and Vince was just as angry on the opening of ECW last Tuesday night as well.

That is all I have to say about him and I will no longer respond to this post or read anymore about him. I am done with Chris Benoit.

Obviously you guys have more information on the details surrounding the deaths of the Benoit family. Wrestling is not mainstream in the UK and so I only know through the interent about The Benoit family.
In Scotland we have 'Innocent until proven guilty' and the way I had read things there is no clear cut evidence on what happened or who did it. I myself am a mother and an auntie and have been through something similar where a member of my family and her son was killed by her husband, I know the pain and turmoil a family go through with that.
If Chris did indeed do what is accused of and was a religious man then he will face his judgement with God.
I did not know Chris or his family personally, so I will not venture into a personal opinion as I am not in a place to do so. I have been lead to believe that he was a good man in and out of the ring by those who did knew him.

Jordy, at this point it is 100% proven that Benoit did do it and Amadeus is 100% accurate too.

I literally feeling like crying for his wife and child.
The thought of Benoit now makes my stomach turn, and even though I don't believe in that place we like to call hell, I hope he is rotting somewhere. He's a piece of garbage!!!
