I usually make my coffee myself because I am particular as to how I like it. Evaporated milk with a touch of cinnamon, nice and hot but not overly so.

I like to experiment though so I'm looking for some new ideas.

How do you like your coffee?

I use soy creamer and stevia to sweeten mine. The cinnamon sounds good!

I have to say I don't mind the taste. My husband says it leaves an aftertaste but he says that about splenda, etc also.

It comes in liquid and powder and one bottle of either one holds about 300 servings! All it takes is a few drops to sweeten anything. I carry one in my purse for my ice tea when we eat out.

Dr. Andrew Weil recommends it over artificial sweeteners. I used to order it from Sunrider whose product is called Sunny Dew. However, theirs costs about $15 for a little bottle and you can buy a very large bottle at a health food store for about $10.

I try to stay away from anything artificial and they haven't proven that splenda is safe really either yet. It takes years to know if there are side effects to artificial things and by then millions have used them.

Anyway, for anyone who is diabetic or watching their calories, I'd recommend trying stevia.

I use enhanced soy milk in mine. This way I get my proteins, calcium, flax seed oil, and a few vitamins while I'm drinking my coffee.
And I too have to make my own coffee - I'm particular about it!

I use soy milk in mine. Along with artificial sweeteners. I like the flavored no-calorie syrups, too--especially vanilla and caramel.

Vanilla soymilk is a good addition, too. You can make your own vanilla soy latte that way! Which is my favorite winter drink.

Rebecca,

The proof is in the pudding. You lost all those pounds and inches but still indulged when it came to your coffee. You are a woman after my own heart!
