I've been doing basic wire wrapped jewelry for years. I'd like to take it a step further now. Does anyone have any suggestions for good websites or books that have patterns and/or instructions on techniques? I'm not looking to copy anyone else's design (I'm incapable of that mentally and physically), but I like seeing patterns with instructions to give me a basic idea. You know, kinda spark the imagination.

Have you looked at Eni Oken's designs? Even if they're not exactly your style, learning some of the techniques might spark your imagination for more elaborate designs of your own. She offers tutorials on her site:
