All websites with a FFX walkthrough say that Omega Weapon has 99,000 HP .. but it is more closer to 1 000,000 HP .. I did Animas Overdrive and it did 200,000.. then he died.. then i used Magus Sisters.. i kept using Razzia and auto Life.. it took me like 10 Razzias to kill it.. they do 99,000 Damage

Anyways.. dont underestimate Omega.. and i read someone said to do doublecast with Flare and soemthing else.. lol that wont do much.. i reckon best way to kill it.. with not so great characters is Anima and Magus Sisters <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Oh and.. i read that you Bribe Omega 1,400,00 Gil and he gives you 99 Doors To Tomorrow.. i did it.. and it said "IMMUNE"..

I havent read anywhere that says Omega has 99,000 HP. You probably just misread summat about having to hit him 90,000 to have a chance. Which is rubbish as well.

Bribe does work on him, if you give him enough. You should Lancet him to get Nova for Kimahri. He doesnt have any attacks that wipe out all three party members until he is weak, so use that time casting Auto Life and attacking him with Overdrives. DO NOT use elemental magic, coz he will absorb it. i found this out the hard way, when my Shiva healed him 99,999!

When he uses Nova the first time, summon Anima, use overdrive, and magus sisters. My Magus sisters actually lasted a very long time, and took off a lot of HP, so they're the best bet. I cant remember any of my characters stats, although I do know that no character had 9,999 HP nor any attribute above 100, so you dont need to be that strong.

WHat is all the hype about omega weapon it only took about 40 secs to kill him i just got bahumet summoned and used haste and it took about 9 hits all 99,999

yes i also feel its 999,999...thats one less for a million, i used up all my aeons on him and all in overdrive including yuna's grand summon plus a multitude of overdrives from my characters

I think the number 99,999 comes from the official
website of ffx on www.squaresoft.com, but I think
it's wrong. However, I did kill Omega weapon under
a minute. I just used Anima which has 255 (max)
strength. I think I used 5 of anima's physical
attacks and then its overdrive to kill omega
weapon. To be honest, I reckon you can take out
omega weapon just with anima's overdrive coz the
overdrive does more than 1 million HP damages.

The only think I didn't do well in that battle was
that I forgot to steal anything from him.
