We in the Southwest USA love often are influenced by decorating styles related to Spanish and Hacienda Styles.

These styles differ from what is considered Southwest Style. New Southwest Style Homes would be filled with Leather furniture and knotty pine cabinets.

The colors might be from nature, with soft greens - peach - and sky blue often the choices of contemporary Southwest Style.

Hello!

We may be moving to Phoenix area within the next 6 months. Just found out... so I am beginning to find out things about the area.

I have never been down there, so it will be all new and exciting!
Any ideas or thoughts about the Phoenix area and the surrounding towns? We have a 16 year old son, so schools are very important also.

Thank you!
