I am grateful that loving thoughts for the loss of a dear friend, Susie and wishes for peace for her loving owner made others feel happiness, peace and gratitude.

I am grateful for the children who take of Das and grateful for all those who love us and care for us.

I am grateful for the rain we have had so the flowers will grow, the animals will thrive and the fires can be doused.

Oh, rain, Glorious RAIN!

I am SO, SO grateful for the rain that is falling today. We are having the worst drought on record, with strict water restrictions ( no hosing, no washing cars, restricted showers and the lot!) and our dams are almost empty.

This rain, they say, is not nearly enough to make a difference, but at least it is bathing the earth with its nourishment and the plants that were dying in my garden are lifting their heads in appreciation.

Indeed something to be grateful for!

Today I am grateful for the beautiful weather; blue skies, bright sun to dry up all my water logged plants and gentle breezes to keep the humidity away.

Today I am grateful for all the birds singing and flying to feed their babies who have hatched and are chirping and learning to fly.

It is a glorious day the Lord has made! smile Let us rejoice and be glad!

Yayyy Lala!

My dad just quit smoking as well, and he said he's amazed by all the things he can smell now that he never noticed before!

Speaking of which, I just got this gorgeous catalog of roses, and I'm trying to figure out where I want to start. I want them all!!!!! So I'm grateful for beautiful flowers that cheer me up. laugh

Today I am so grateful for 24 hours without physical pain. I am also grateful for the cooler weather, which always seems to be kinder to my spine than our Summer weather.

Yes, das, and i'm grateful you are alive, TOOOOOO!!!! laugh

BellaHarmony, have you decided yet which roses you are going to get? I like heirloom roses that smell so lovely!!!!!!!! I can't grow them worth a darn. I keep trying with miniatures, though. But i remember my mother's lovely rose vines with pale pink roses draped over a gazebo. I guess they are awfully old-fashioned now, but I liked to sit on one of the seats when the flowers were in bloom. smile
