Funny and sad.

This kind of thing makes me happy to be female.

My friend got "accidentally" pregnant 2 times - and she was on BC and they were using a condom. YEAH RIGHT. She miscarried one and aborted the other. Now she is married and has two children. Luckily for her she found a guy whose dream in life was to get married and have lots of kids.

Just because you don't believe someone could get accidentally pregnant doesn't mean it isn't true.

As for a man getting trapped, why wasn't he using a condom. Men still run for the hills when their girlfriends end up pregnant and despite what you may think they do not pay child support.

There are many ways to get out of it and I do know of women whose husbands have run to another state to get out of paying.

Both of those people are losers in the story you linked to. I found the man much worse as he was so cold about using her just for sex. He many very well find out the baby is his after all. I do feel sorry of any kid that comes out of this.

And for your information, you need to keep getting that sperm checked after a vascetomy. I work with 2 women who were born after their fathers had one because the Dr. neglected to mention this important fact.

Condoms are not fool proof and there are plenty of people alive today because they fail.
I can't believe you are so quick to feel sorry for men. Many women in this country are being denied access to reliable birth control and abortion? In a lot of states, forget it.
It is a stupid woman who thinks she can get a guy to stick around because of a baby but I still stand by everything I posted.

I feel sorry for men because birth control is not in their control exept for condoms and there are alot of "women" out there who will say they are on birth control to trap a man.It happens all the time. There are women out there who will do anything for a meal ticket.

I don't feel sorry for women who are willing to sleep around and be used by men for sex and not take responsibility for thier actions. And if they get pregnant and the man (that they willingly let take advantage of them)walks out and doesn't give them a dime, then they made their own bed. Maybe that sounds harsh but I just don't buy into the whole idea that the man is all at fault. The women also lays down and spreads her legs. There are women who use kids to try and get at men. Women are just as guilty here.

Well well. I guess he got the last laugh. And I almost believe his actions were justified, he did nothing more than she did. But when it comes to bc, both parties are equally responsible.

Sand, he DID continue to get checked. Getting two such tests in just four months or so is hardly negligent. Plus he was using condoms.

Also, the epilogue clearly states that he later learned that the true father was identified. Stand by your post all you want, friend. But you'd be better off standing behind a post that was based on a thorough reading of the article in question.

If I were a man who didn't want kids, whether in a committed relationship or not, I'd use condoms religiously until I got snipped, no matter what the woman said. I've heard of married women who were on BC for years who got the baby "itch" and went off BC without telling their husband, who trusted the wife was still on BC. And if I were with a man who said he was snipped, unless he showed me proof of that, I'd stay on the pill until he did. (Though I'd probably stay on it anyway, since I take it continuously to stop my cycle!)
