Hi, I have very curly, thick hair. In the summer I love to wash and let it air dry but no matter what I put on it it frizzies up. Does anybody know of a good product I could use to tame my hair. I have used mousse, gel, frizz-ease. It ends up dry and frizzy. Thanks.

You mentioned your hair being very dry... have you considered trying to use moisturizing conditioners? Maybe the dryness of your hair causes the frizz.

Your type of hair requires a full line of products to control frizz in the summer.
Start with moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. (I like LC Legacy Moisurizing Shampoo and Conditioner and Nioxin Systems 7 or 8 depending on whether you have hair color)

Then use a leave in moisturizer like Nioxin Silk Elixir
Then I like to use ARTec Blow Serum for control
For more control add Nioxin Pure Shine Gel or a mousse that stays very soft such as Nioxin Bodifying Foam.

Dry frizzy hair needs layers of moisture and control. I have never found just one product that takes care of it in warm humid weather.

Try two things:

Leave-in conditioners or cremes such as Garnier Fructis sleek and shine or their curl and shine or the Infusium leave-in line.

Using less shampoo ( less than a dime size ) and shampooing less often (once or twice a week max).
