Hi!

Could someone please tell me how to get down to
the dungeon in the Omega ruins? I've been
wondering around on the first level (the one you
can reach from the airship) for a few days, there
doesn't seem to be a way down (well, there must
be, I just haven't found it yet).

For people who have fought both ultima and omega
weapns and the final boss, which one is harder?

I got so frustrated that I decided to see if I can
finish the game, and... I did, without much
trouble, the first time I got struck in the final
battle was by the second form of Jecht.

Thanks a lot.

Didu

Omega is harder.. they both do similar attacks until you get Omega down on low life.. then he will start doing Nova and Ultima .. i dont know if there are more because i died right after he did Nova <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> .. Im telling ya.. you got to have a fully charged overdrive Anima to beat him.. im sure it would take of at least half of his HP..

I was foolish enough to keep going on after i killed Ultima.. .. once you beat Ultima .. go back!! to the save point at the start!!

The Weapons have got to be the easiest bosses in the dungeon, considering their 'reputation'. The Ultima weapon will go down with just one Oblivion Overdrive, if Yuna and the Aeon are strong enough. Put Yuna on Aurons track to make ANima super strong.

The Omega Weapon has no attacks that can KO all three characters until the end of the fight, which is when you use your Aeons Overdrives. At the start, just use magic and physical attacks, with 2 of the 3 active members having Auto-Phoenix. Then, as soon as he does the first Nova, should you survive, send out Yuna and the Aeons. He should be dead by then.

Oh, and Zanmato does work on him. In one fight Yojimbo used it for me without me having to pay him. Maybe the guy has something against Omega?

The Weapons were really easy. I took out the
first one with Anima in 3 shots and got an overkill. The second one I used Anima's overdrive and Ifrit's overdrive and took him out.

First, head straight up. As soon as the path branches right, take it to the end, where you find 2-4 chests (cant remember how many) Open them all, defeat the mimic if it attacks and return to the first save sphere. Now, head left and open four chests right at the end of that path. Instead of returning, carry on round to the right until there is another split, where you should find more chests.

Then, return to the save point. Now, go left again, but keep going past all the splits. Soon, you should come across a glyph on the wall which does nothing (in my experience). Carry on past it, until you find more chests. Open them, and go right. Use the little platform to continue along the path, and into the middle of some weird structure thing. Ultima comes up behind you. Kill him. Save.

To get to Omega, return to where you fought Ultima. A teleport-thing should have apeared. Use it. Outside, you should head left. There are 10 platforms here, each with a tough monster or two. You need to defeat all ten. Head left first, and kill the two in that direction. Then, go to the right. You should save after you have beaten 10. (Yes, I know its a long way, but you dont wanna risk it!)

Omega is in the castle, which you get to by following the path all the way round to the right. Good luck!

Yeh, its a lot of confusing nonsense really, but hope it helps.

Hi!

Thanks so much for helping me. I've finally killed
the two weapons.

I also found out the use of the glyph. To
activate that glyph, you need to go further down
to the left (or could be right, I cannot remember)
and activate another glyph first, once you have
activated (touched) the second glyph, you just
need to go back and activate (touch) the first
one, and a bridge will appear behind you, if you
get onto the bridge and follow the path, you will
get two (I think) teleport spheres.

Thanks so much.
