BellaOnline Forums Hobbies and Crafts Birding Songs with Bird Themes

I was trying to think up songs that had a bird featured in it. I know there was the band the Byrds, but they didn't seem to sing anything bird-related <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

There was Fly like an Eagle by the Steve Miller Band. The US Postal Service got its hands on it. There was Rockin' Robin by M. Jackson, with its tweet-tweet-tweet <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> And then there was 'Close to You' by the Carpenters - "Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near? Just like me, they long to be close to you..."

What other songs are there?

Oh! How about "a wella everybody's heard about the bird" that keeps going on "bird bird bird, bird is the word" <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

How about "Little Bird" by Annie Lexox of Eurythmics.
Another song called Fly by Celine Dion or El Condor Pasa by Simon and Garfunkle.
Those are just a few I have thought of.
