So, I got a medical transcriptionist job today! From home of course and she said as long as I work out, I can have their copywriters work too(writing ads and newsletters and stuff) Still stunned but relieved beyond words as it pays the lease on the farm with a little left over towards bills. Just shows that you never can tell what lurks in the mind of your local medical transcriptionist. Amelia

Congratulations, Amelia! This job sounds ideal! One of my friends did medical transcription work from home for about three years and she loved it. No more having to wear heels and nylons into the office!

Big Congrats to both of you. I have taken almost a year off just goofing around so now I need to really take my designing more seriously. I wanted to go back to work but we had to suddenly pull out my 11 year old from school so I am home schooling and that takes up alot of my time (I don't mind) plus there are alot of things that always need to be done around here like chopping wood, watering, de weeding, cleaning , etc.

One more day, one more day. I'm reminding myself that after today I have a four day weekend.
I'm hoping to go to the Ren Faire on Sunday with a group of ladies. Hoping like heck that it doesnt rain all weekend. I've never been to a Ren Faire. I'll have to clean up my digital camera and take some pictures.

Yes I am currently designing crochet patterns, the two that I just finished are actually from my 11 year old son, he told me his idea and I crocheted it. I really have too much on my plate right now I am trying to learn how to manipulate Wordpress to my liking, closing one of my websites, and we are making small tri looms to do Art in the Park here in July, and take care of the yard. It will all get done it just takes time.
Thanks for asking
Eva

Thia-Ren Faire-woo hoo!!I guess we wont hear from you for 4 days then?? Free, how was your job? Eva, you make your own crochet patterns? That is awesome! I love to do needlework but not a speck of time anymore. So it all sits... Karm, thanks! Yea, I was just so relieved..I had to bring the kids to the interview to wait for me, I mean, I couldnt leave them all home alone, ugh. But the baby slept through it all and never made a peep. The bigger kids all brought books and read the whole time. It was an 8 am meeting. At a coffee shop and (being a coffeeaholic) it was torture to have her say *Oh, arent you having anything??* while I drooled over 4 dollar lattes that everyone was having. If they were a buck I couldnt have afforded one so I just totally faked it and said oh no, I am all set thanks!
TORTURE! LOLOL..I guess Karma loved that cause I got the job and sounded nothing like a woman who brought all her kids with her and desperately wanted that damn coffee.. bwahahaha
water under the bridge now, I am drinking regular supermarket coffee and have that job so I am happy.
