Welcome to the 2nd part of the Legends Crocket cup. The Tag Team Tournament of all Tag Team Tournaments! Polling for this rnd closes Sunday next week. 19/5/07.

Please read the rules before voting and have fun. Since I still have no idea how to do the old Poll, you're just going to have to list the winners. (Just like in Rnd 1 pt1).

By the way, Rnd1 pt1 is still open till Sunday if you haven't yet chosen some winners. Please participate so we can get things up and going again here.

Legends Crocket Cup Rules.

1. Only make one vote for each match. (This is crucial).
2. Do not vote for a match if you do not know BOTH the Teams in the match.
3. Vote on who you think would win. This is not a popularity contest, or about who are the best Technical Wrestlers etc.
4. All Teams are considered to be wrestling at their peak/prime.
5. Be a mark.
6. Comments and commentary are very welcome for all match ups.
7. Only choose the cant vote button if Rule #2 applies to you.

And now to the match ups for this week.

Doesn't really work that way.

A 'johnny come lately' would then rate the Steiners completely differently. Because they as individuals were completly different to how they were as a Team (NWA being there heyday, not TNA). Don't worry, I don't know every team either.

The matches IMO;

Mr Fuji &Mr Saito
This hard to call because their styles are very different. I would pick Fuji/Saito, but then theres Badd Cos manager Page who was always a factor in Bad Companys matches. Even so, I think the very Tough Fuji & Saito would get the duke. They have their own bag of tricks anyway.

British Bulldogs (Daveyboy Smith & Dynamite Kid)
MOM proved to be a handful on occasions. Which was often surprising. However, there is no way I would bet my lunch money on them in this match. I think it would be more interesting than most people think. Mo is quick for a beach ball, and Mabel is just big and has that amazing head high kick to the head. But, 5 mins in and the MOM team would be huffing and puffing and sucking air. The BB (if they werent already winning) certainly would take control here and Mo would be finished off with the Power Slam, Flying Head but
combo.

Larry the Ax Hennig & Harley Race
I respect Karl Gotch and Goulet for being true pioneers of the sport, but Hennig & Race would just be far too Tough and Race could nullify anything technical Gotch and Goulet had.

Dudley Boys (Bubba Ray & D Von Dudley)
A violent match that sees Dudleys getting a run on their opponents late in the match.
Both Richards and Raven are put through the Tables, much to the fans pleasure. Finally Richards is taken out with the Dudley Drop (3D) and pinned.

Dr Death Steve Williams & Ted Dibiase
I love the West Texas Rednecks song!! Unfortunately theyre up against opposition who are just Tougher (DrD) and better (Dibiase). Itd be back and forth, but the end is never in doubt. Williams and Dibiase with the Okalahoma Slam.

Luke Graham & Tarzan Tyler
vs
Hart Foundation (Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart)
No vote. I know nothing of Luke Graham or Tarzan Tyler

Brian Kendrick & Paul London
The reflex pick for this bout is Adonis and Murdoch. Tougher and dirtier than most teams on the planet. And that includes now. However, after thinking about it, I seen Kendrick & London take on the best and shine like few teams of their size can. This match could go either way. But if Kendrick and London hit em fast and furious, and they would, then I believe they would win. Itd be an out of nowhere roll up type pin on a surprised Murdoch by London.

Eddie Guerrero & Art Barr
Sympathy vote put aside. The Guerrero/Barr team still win because theyre freakin brilliant. The Irwin Boys are just out classed and never really stand much of a chance. An Art Barr Frog Splash ends the match.

Hardline Collection (Dick Murdoch & Dick Slater)
Like the other Murdoch team, very very tough! Too tough for the muscular and gifted Atlas and Johnson team. Actually, I would expect Atlas and Johnson to dominate most of the match. Murdoch and Slater hanging tough to stay in it, and underhanded tactics a plenty to turn the tide. And eventually, just when it looked like Atlas would score the win with his devastating back breaker on Slater, Murdoch would dispose of Johnson outside the ring and blast Atlas from behind, after distracting the ref of course. Slater scores a pin.

Brian Adias & Al Madril
vs
The Outsiders (Scott Hall & Kevin Nash)
No Vote. I dont know Brian Adias or much about Al Madril

Wild Samoans (Afa & Sika)
From what Ive seen of Butcher and Mad Dog, this match is a real pick em as far as the winner goes. Wild, violent, cheating, vicious wrestling. Im thinking the only advantage the Wild Samoans have, if any, is their Super Hard skulls and their occasional high flying. Thisd be scrappy but totally Wild to watch. Wild Samoans get the win. That is if there isn't a double count out first.

Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk)
Animal and Hawk beat up on Garea and Martel badly. Martel tries to come back for his Team, but eventually gets annihilated with a vicious Hawk clothesline and its pretty much all over from there. Doomsday device spells Doomsday for Garea and Martel.

This was a pretty tough bracket. Featuring many teams from the past. (Some from Ancient past). I'm pretty sure you'll be able to vote at least for a few matches on the next bracket though.

But....Shame on you for now having seen a British Bulldogs match!
I recomend you watch;
WMII Bulldogs vs Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine
WMIII Bulldogs vs Hart Foundation & Danny Davis.
+ any Bulldogs vs Hart Foundation matches.

When the Bulldogs, Hart Foundation, Dream Team, Demolition, Rockers, Islanders, Strike Force, Killer Bees, Rougeau Brothers and others were all in WWF at the same time, Tag Team Wrestling was never hotter. I recomend a trip to the video store.

By the way, it was The Islanders with Bobby Heenan who stole "Matilda". The Dog was IRL Bobby Heenan's dog.

PS. Where are the rest of you slackers!? DPU, Amad, 7, Force, Patty, we need your imput here.

Okay, so I'm catching up on all the posts here (again), and I love these polls Tik, you know it...but, again, I have a bunch of match-ups where I've not seen both teams! (when I say a bunch, I mean all but...one, actually!). So the Dudleys get my vote. Hee!

I think I might be more use in this poll when we've whittled it down in the next round!!!
