i have a copy of the book, but confess i haven't read it yet. Thank you for the recommendation.
Similarly, i'd like to recommend The Millionaire Next Door, which is an interesting read for anyone intelligent even if you don't care about building wealth! The authors did a lot of research and interviews to discover what kinds of occupations make millionaires and what are their habits, and it's not what you think! Plumbers, drycleaners, all those unglorious jobs make up a bulk of millionaires. But it also talks about the spending and other life habits they have, and why that works. They researched things like, on average, what's the most a millionaire has spent on a suit, a watch, and a car? And you see not to confuse affluence with wealth. It talks about the children of millionaires and their habits. It talks about their wives and how many times they marry and if the wives work or not and what their role is in making a millionaire, it even breaks down statistics in ethnicity. I think you'd like it.
