OK, I got really far with my game now, but the thing is I'm stuck on Evrae. No matter what walkthrough I visit or strategy I use I can never beat it. Any ideas? <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

how come u can't beat him he's easy ! does he always kills u with his poison breath?
hint:always use hast on every character and evrae isn't immune to slow so use that on him.
on the right ( the frame that indicates the turns)u can see a face that looks like the face of wakke,that's the face of cid ( the one who controls the areship) use it wisely and when evrae charges up move back then he won't hit u with his poison breath
P.S.: don't forget to steal the water gem with rikku(water gem+lvl 1 key sphere = 9999 damage!)

Read back through the threads in this board, we have a lot of discussions about Evrae. It's tough because it's the first battle you really hit without Yuna, and by now you're probably pretty dependent on the aeon smash technique.

So instead haste up all your characters, keep Rikku healing, and usually Wakka and Lulu I think do the most damage at this point. We go into more details in the other threads.

I really got the same problem... Mine secret weapons were Rikku's Al bhed potions... u know, Evrae uses much Stone Gaze, Poison Breath and physical attacks. Cast haste on all, and be sure that Auron's HP is over 4000... I think that'll help. If his Hp ain't that much, train them all with the monsters, that are inside theship. Al Bhed potions heals Petrification, Poison and something, AND IT GIVES 1000 TO ALL!!!
