errrrr in your guide/walkthrough you mentioned warp selects??? I can't seem to find it

They're just little spots on the ground that let you 'zap' from spot to spot without trudging there by foot. Which one are you looking for? They're usually right next to the save sphere ...

Note that you now have WARP SELECTS so that you can leap around back and forth from the plains to this point. You're about to head into the dead city of Zanarkand - so hop back to the plains if you need to do any shopping and to build your GFs all back up to full power!

Ah, the one at the top of the mountain, by the cave opening? That one is over to the right a bit from the save sphere. It's sort of dark within the cave mouth there, but look at the ground to the right of the save sphere and you should see a glyph sort of thing on the ground. Stand on it and you can zap back down to the foot of the mountain.
