I think Grand Protect was a sphere grid thing, right? If so, just wander around the calm lands a bit until you get it. You shouldn't be TOO far away from it at this point if you've been building up your characters properly.

If you really, really don't want to get it (which I'd advise you rethink, because you're going to need it further on too) then have Tidus haste Yuna, and have Yuna do the various protects one at a time.

Or, you can give a try of having Tidus haste Yuna and then just having Yuna blast away with each aeon at full charge, and hope that the rest of your guys survive in between the aeons Maybe have Rikku as one of the other two so she can heal people, so Yuna is free to just summon aeons.

Well actually when I was writing that my first thought was that Grand Protect *was* a thing you learned from those two Rhonsos . But as you were right after that point I figured that if that was where you would have learned it, that you would have learned it there. If you don't see it on the sphere grid I'd try reloading before you fight those two and making sure you steal everything you possibly can from them. I'm pretty sure it was right in there that you gained it.

Ok, I take it back. I don't think Mighty Guard (the grand protect) that Kimahri does is a sphere grid thing. Try lanceting a Behemoth to get it.

Yes, Mighty Gaurd you lancet from the two Ronso's, but you are right you can also lancet it off a behemoth or the behemoth king from inside Sin

Might Gaurd doesn't help all that much against Seymour Flux though (if I'm thinking of the right one, on Mt Gagazet) it's the darn zombie status that his machina inflicts on you.

Ensure that you rememdy anyone with zombie straightaway as the next attack is always full life, which when in zombie equals death!

Not sure you can have zombieproof at that point in the game but see what status proofs you can add, once you have figured out what negative statuses Seymour inflicts

Rikku's Vitality (2xHi-Potion) mix is good for that battle as it will double someone HPs allowing you to survive his big attacks

Ah, ok, it WAS the Rhonsos. That was my first thought but I wasn't sure.

I didn't remember the zombying being too bad, you just unzombie them and then they're being healed by the bad guys, which always amuses me

Hi!

I also had trouble when I fought Seymour Flux. It took me at least 10 times to finish him off (I'm really hoping I won't see him again!!).

My GFs were not that powerful at all, so I think there is no way I could have beaten him with my GFs.

My characters are pretty weak too, only Auron has
more than 4,000 hps.

The way I beat him is:

(1)Use Lulu's Bio on him as soon as you can, and
keep him Bioed, this way, you won't really
have to do much fighting, Seymour will just
die after a while.

(2)Every time it does a dispel on you, it means
his next move will be the cross something
combo, what I did was, every time AFTER the
dispel, I will cast reflex on my strongest
character, so he cannot be killed by full-life
after he got zombied.

(3)Use Auron's armour break and power break on the
machine, and cast haste to everyone, and keep
taking out the machine. This way, if Seymour is
Bioed, it would cost him 2000-3000 HP each time
he revivies the machine.

(4)Just use yuna as the healer to keep everyone's
HP as high as possible.

Good Luck

oops...

I meant "reflect", not "reflex" in the previous
post.
