I don't follow the path of a "Christian witch," but again I don't see how it's not possible. There are all types of Wiccans and Pagans. Personally, I don't believe in a god or goddess at all as tangible beings, but I believe in an underlying divinity that permeates everything. Others worship or work with traditional Greek gods and goddess. Still others work with Celtic deities, and on, and on, and on... If one were to take some of the basic premises of Paganism (a connectedness with nature/the universe being the primary one), why couldn't one integrate Jesus and Mary into it? I'm typing like I actually know what I'm talking about here... Does anyone else have a take on this?

I think you've got it down pretty well, froggie. Just as there are Islamic Mystics and Messianic Jews, there can be Christian Wiccans, as well. It's a blend of Christianity and a pantheistic, nature-based view of the universe. This is not to say that there aren't Christians who would argue that the two faiths are completely incompatible. Many people take what they want from various faiths and leave behind the rest, after all.

I am a Pagan Buddhist...or is it Buddhist Pagan? I follow the teachings of Buddha but honor Pagan Gods and Goddesses. If someone can get the Christian religion to mess with Wicca religion, so be it! Seems it would be complicated though.

Just surmising here, but perhaps she experiences the Christian god as a feminine energy and has not found anything in the Christian religion to support that experience, and so found her answers to that side in Wicca. Additionally and conversely, perhaps she very much experiences Jesus, which, while not frowned upon, is not given much credence in Wicca - so she has kept that Christian belief.

Greetings..
The word Christ basically is a synonym for the word Messiah. And in both cases that word literally translates to "one covered in oil". Kings and leaders in ancient times were often annointed in oil to celebrate their status. So basically the word Christian breaks down to "followers of a leader annointed in oil." hmmmmmm.
Now, what these followers believe about that leader depends on what group you are talking with. There are hundreds of different takes on who and what Jesus was. And, many of the adherents of the different systems of Christianity cannot even agree among themselves on that topic.
I am a Pagan, and I find it really easy to follow the Gnostic Jesus. He was a cool dude!! And, I like him a whole lot better than the Biblical version.
I can see how a Pagan could follow the teachings of one of the greatest Shamans who ever walked the Earth. He healed with his hands, walked on water, made loaves and fishes to feed the people, and did a whole lot of magical stuff. Harry Potter eat your heart out!!
If you read the Gnostic gospel of Judas, Judas declares that Jesus came from Barbelo. Wow... that would be... the sacred space of the Great Goddess and the unknown Creator. In fact, Jesus laughed at his disciples for their belief in the manmade God.
So Amadeus.. perhaps the Christian Witch is not following YOUR specific interpretation of who and what Jesus was.. perhaps she is following her interpretation of who and what Jesus was.
You see him as a savior, I see him as a Shaman.. who is right and who is wrong.. who knows!!
Love and Light..

The meaning of Christ is "the Anointed One". He truly is our Creator & He is Love, not confusion or hatred. The scriptures declare that Satan believes in the one true God & trembles!

let us also add that a lot of christian festivals coincide with pagan ones, because these formerly pagan feast days were commandeered by early Christians to avoid creating confusion, and it was a subtle way of teaching a new religion using old and tried & tested methods..... It is a well-researched and well-known fact that it's highly likely jesus Christ was born in the months of October, not mid december....and crucifixions probably took place at least a month earlier than we celebrate easter...which itself is scheduled by weird methods...

Actually, Christianity is a borrowed religion. The God of the Hebrews was borrowed, and in ancient Egypt and among other Pagans, a claim of virgin birth was not that uncommon. The story of Jesus co-incides nicely with the myth of Mithras..lol.
The dates of the major Christian holidays were borrowed from the Pagans, and the pagan rites, rituals and customs still prevail on Christmas and Easter. Even the names of the days of week are based on Roman Gods and Goddesses, as are the planets.
So, if the Christians can borrow from the Pagans, I don't see why it would be any different if a Pagan borrowed from the Christians.

Perhaps we need to define the meaning of 'witch'?
I know that people who were herbalists and natural healers were once burned at the stake for being what the Church called 'witches'.
I guess we would need to hear from this person herself what it is that she believes.
Perhaps she is reluctant to answer questions because she has previously been 'bashed' for the answers!
Patience.
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. John Adams
