Help!! I have a 3500 gallon garden pond. I was just told I need a uv light to help control the algae. Does anyone know anything about them? I have several goldfish, a few bluegill( to control the bullfrog population), & several waterlillies, & other water plants. We have a waterfall & stream built in, also. I'm just looking for the easist way to maintain & the uv light sounds great. Thanks ahead of time for your help!!! Laurajoyce

The UV light will work for all algae except blanketweed or string algae. If you have godlfish and do not feed them, balance your pond ecologically, you will not need a UV light at all. See my web site in my signature for more info.
