When you think of Spain what is the first city that comes to mind and why?

Is it the food, where you or someone you know has been or a famous landmark?

I think of Rota, Spain because I lived there for 2 years. The beaches are amazing, the people are super friendly and the food is terrific!

I also remember how beautiful the fields of sunflowers were. Their heads would follow the sun and it was a huge field of bright, cheerful yellow.

Torrox, that is where I will be going.

I've never been to Torrox itself but round and about, it's a lovely area.
Have you bought a house there yet?

I immediately think of Mallorca, but that is only because it is the only place I had been to..... It literally took my breath away like 25 times a day. Stunning beaches.

sorry for the delay Rachel. No, I do not have a house there yet. My fiancee will be moving from The Netherlands to Spain in September. I will join him as soon as I can get my things in order here. I'm not finding much in the way of getting a visa.
