Can u make yourself a bit more clear for some stupid german guy? can u now beat him with ease or not, whatta hell now is your question!
maybe though -how to beat him:
hmmm.
1.dont use normal magic
2.dont use normal characters
3.dont use normal characters overdrives

4. j u s t and o n l y use your aeons
so now get ready to
1.summon bahamut , does around 20-30.000 dmg then he does some nasty attacks on you, so with 7000hp u should get another turn with overdrive again 20-30.000 dmg , so we are on 60.000dmg
2.summon anima, overdrive does -with a bit trainig-7hours by me :-) 225.000 dmg u dont get another turn he mostly dies.
3.summon (yuna with overdrive-summon) magus trio, first time 200.000dmg, cos of yunas overdrive summon again overdrive again 200.000 dmg

now we are on 700.000dmg :-) i hope so
4.- its a bit hard to explain but read:
u should teleport somewhere with yuna where u get many +4 to attack on your sphere board- train to use them. dug should have around 205 attack, not hard really u get for 4atck on yuna 20atck on dug.

S O ! ! dug should do 99.999 dmg with an normal attack or with flameblade. now just attack with your mage trio some times u will need three rounds -every round mug dug and rug only attack.
mug:30-40.000dmg per hit
dug:99.999dmg per hit
rug:14.000dmg per hit

now we are on 1.200.000 dmg points, means hes dead :-)

ITS NOT THAT HARD TO GET U'OR AEONS THAT HIGH
I HAD AS FOLLOWS, BY 9HOURS OF TRAINING IN THE OMEGA RUINS:
/name /hp /overdrive /normal attck
bahamut: 7500hp 27.000dmg 14.000dmg
anima: 8000hp 35.000dmg 21.000dmg
MagusTrio:
mug 14.000hp 200.000 25.000
dug 11.000hp 200.000 99.999
rug 7.000hp 200.000 14.000

Really hope i could help u, cos we all love that game: b u t DA **** have u got anything of value from him?

easier way is to have yojimbo and summon him with grand summon and pay lots of all your gill and cut him straight in half if yojimbo actually does zanmato

yeah. its easier but only for cowards, cos its near cheatin. :-)
you want to have the feeling to have really completed the game and just cuttin him in half is not giving u that feeling. even a beginner can pay him gold and then hope for zanmato.
p.s u dont have tried this have u? with grand summon u most time are [censored]. he will do without that u pay him gold a wakizashi attack and then get killed. and u need around 2.000.000 gil. u have that? cant believe...

Hey mimic.....

Dont put ppl down cause they have problems beating some aspects of the game. Its natural.
I bet u havent beaten the game all by ur self. Right??

And Mimic, just 1 question:

U say u dont believe he has 2.000.000 gil

How much gil did u gather when u spend 9 HOURS fighting in Omega Dungeon??? ironic enough the fiend called Mimic pays 50.000 gil when u kill it. And its one of the most common encounters in Omega Dungeon.

Lets keep the tone decent in here. After all most of us is here to get help anyways.

why do u think i was putting someone down? if i did i appologize. dont means :-) dont take it too serious for u? i only say that its more fun to beat the game without zanmato, dont u think so too.
excepting the ultimate weapons i went through the game without major complications. but i can say that i played 5,7,8,9 without walkthroughs but beating secret things like omega weapon(8) osma(9) mimic class(5), can u say that too. ;-) now dont be angry again.
i earned 1.400.000 gil fighting mimics and i dont think he has that much money to spend cos i thought that he may have spend it on other enemies and cos he thought it were better taking joyinbo than so he played through without getting that good.
p.s i'm called mimic after the great mimic-class in ff5 and not after the money spending mimics in ff10.
cu and keep calm :-)

For many people, just finishing the game themselves is an accomplishment, so however they choose to do it, as long as it's within the parameters of the game (i.e. no cheat codes) is fine by me! Different people have different ideas of what makes a game fun. Some like the long slow trudge, some like to make uber characters that are super powerful. Both take work, just different kinds of work. So as long as the person enjoys the ride, that's all that matters!

It's like a vacation. 10 people can take a vacation to Paris and enjoy it in 10 different ways. There's no right way or wrong way, there's just the way that works best for you personally!
