Angeles,

I am very excited about my project. I may have mentioned that I am involved with a historical society and museum in my home town. There are many Spanish-speaking newcomers to our area. My project was to translate the tour that is given in the historic house. My friend from Ecuador translated the tour and we have a copy now that will be printed. My friend said she would like to be a tour guide too.

http://www.chesterfieldhistory.com has a link for the virtual tour of the house. I have not posted the Spanish tour yet.

Angie

Angeles, Just thought I would tell you that we completed the tour and had it printed. It is available for anyone who would be more comfortable reading the tour in Spanish than having to translate what the docent/guide tells them about the house. It turned out very nice.

www.chesterfieldhistory.com there is a copy on this page as well as a virtual tour of the house.

Thanks! :-)

So, you're coming to Spain? There's a lot of good resources on the net and sounds good if you try to find some info about Spain before coming here. Anyway, feel free to ask me, as I live in Spain, ok?

Let me know and good luck with Spanish language! smile

A tour in Spain, that is a good idea. I have been to Spain for quite a few times on travel and I find that it is a worthy country in the world. I think once you're in Spain, you can't miss costal del sol where you can enjoy a comfortable sunbath and barcelona where you can taste the really beautiful sandy beach. While in summer you can go to tenerife , it's the summer resort. I love them all. Peopla there are mostly friendly and hospitable and you won't be worried about anything there.
Have a good time in Spain!
