I chose X because it has the best graphics and they really balanced the gameplay well. Also I like the more adult characters vs the little cartoon characters.

But I do like 8 - again because it involved realistic characters, fun gameplay and plots that didn't go along the lines of "I hate my mother, she's evil! Hey, let's kill her!"

I would have voted for FFX but i thought i'd choose an original. So, I chose FFVI, i always liked 6 for its story. If i would have chose 10, it would be for the graphics.

S. Saturn, 6 is an excellent choice. An AWESOME story that takes FOREVER to finish (Thats why I love it). owever, I must go with FF7. That was the game that got me INTO the FF series, and the story and detail put into that game was AMAZING, not to mention a total breakthrough for the Playstation.

We had started with 8, I have 7 on CD now so once I finish getting all my X notes on line we'll go back to 7 ...

Lisa, FF7 for the PC is B U G G Y as hell.....but it's, graphicaly, LOADS BETTER. Also, the PC version allows you to tweak with the game and unlock certain secrets unavailable through the PSX. I think you will have loads of fun playing it, as I did. probably not as enjoyable to youn as me, since it was my *first* FF experience :-)
ALl I have to say is...MATERIA ROCKS! I spent a good 3 months tweaking my Materia, Mastering it, and defeating the two Ultra Hard bosses, the ones that have over 100,000,000 hitpoints X_X

Oh, the version I got is the original PlayStation version, it was on sale used at the store. So hopefully I'm immune from some of those bugs We'll see!

Lisa, the original PSX version has NO BUGS, and is awesome. The game is WAY prettier for PC, but I am certain you will enjoy it all the same

Great, I'll hopefully start playing it soon, just trying to get some of my other walkthroughs finalized. If I get too many loose notes around my computer they get mixed together and I get pages like

"First Zidane walks up the path ... then Spyro flies over the chasm to pick up the egg ... now talk to Cain to get information on the next quest ..."

One day I gathered up all my loose notes and we had a blast trying to identify which game they went with by what they were saying...

FF6 is by far the best I hated 7, 8 and 9 they went way too fluffy but I'm old school gamer I played them all since #1

I don't need flashy graphics I just want immersive story and good gameplay
