I really enjoy Indian food both cooking it and eating it
I find Cobra Indian beers helps both the processes too

I cannot get my Sag Bhaji (Spinach) as dry as you get it an Indian restaurant or takeaway

What is the secret?

Hi,

Thanks for getting the ball rolling with your question! I am so glad to hear that you enjoy eating Indian food and even happier to know that you are cooking it at home!

What saag dish are you preparing? I have posted a link below for Saag Paneer. The addition of chickpea flour (besan)and cream helps to thicken the dish. Do you use chickpea flour in your preparation? Compare the recipe below with your own and see if that could be the problem, if not please feel free to write back. We'll figure it out!

Thanks,

Sadhana

I adore Eastern food but could never shift completely
I'd miss my Roast beef, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Fish pie oh! I could go on (and on)
I have excellent Indian Restaurant 2 miles from my home and they cook Saag Aloo (Spinach) and Bindi Bhaji (Okra) simple vegetables side orders that are quite dry and incredible delicious
The will not tell me their secret
