Fiddle, I am just like you! My car is 2 years old, but it's a nice 2005 Mustang and I want it to stay nice, so it sleeps in the garage (we made room for both cars in the garage, and had to move our "garage junk" to other storage areas around the house and attic) and I park it in the boonies. Despite my care, I've found small marks on it when I wash it (by hand, in my driveway, not in the drive-thru car washes). People are just inconsiderate. It probably has to do something with almost everyone in Texas driving big trucks or SUVs. Anyway, it's going to stay nice-looking a lot longer due to picky parking! LOL!

That video is scary for me. Everyone gives me a hard time because I am soooo picky about my car. My car is 9 years old and I still park waaayyy out in the parking lots so people don't bang it up. I am also a curb hugger. I park on corners and get as close to curb as possible and I try not to park next to others with two door cars. After 9 years of this, my car looks like new.
