There are a multitude of causes for dark undereye circles and probably as many remedies!

I had a terrible problem with undereye circles that was exacerbated by my allergies. My derm recommended teamine. It takes some patience, but it DOES work !

Now, I use a dynamite all in one eye firming and moisturizing cream that I get from bellapelleskincare.com . I use alot of their products and adore them!

Does anyone know if any of those creams you can buy work?? I have had bags and circles for over 10 years now, pretty much when my son was born. Even when I do get enough sleep they are there. I have allergies but even during non-allergy season, they are there. I use conceler but you can still see them. I am sick of people asking me if I am tired all the time. Any suggestions?

There are definitely some that work! I think you have to divide products into 2 groups. Some make your skin look and feel better, but don't really improve the quality of your skin. I'm not knocking them. Sometimes, even when you're working on "remodelling " your skin, you want to use something that improves the way it looks RIGHT NOW!

Personally, I like products with a high concentration of actives. They've really changed my skin so much. It's also the case that research is giving us so many great new active ingredients - many of them also natural ones! Case in point: tamarind seed extract. It's worth seeking out products with this ingredient because it's honestly awesome. It also seems to somehow regulate your skin. I may have mentioned bellapelleskincare.com - they make this all-in-1 firming elixir. Although the ingredients looked fantastic, I didn't think I'd be able to use the stuff because I have oily skin, but this stuff worked beautifully. When I asked them about it, they attributed it to the "regulating" quality of the tamarind seed extract.

Both this and their eye cream are definitely worth checking out though.

Okay, dark circles can be caused by a couple of things... a toxic liver and rubbing your eyes causing bruises (allergies). Whenever you apply your eye cream, use your ring finger...it has the least muscle and you won't be using as much pressure. How do I know all of this. I had a toxic liver and treated myself and now...no more dark circles.
