Yes but no more important than the next spritual person with a relationship with G-d or their higher being.

She means that Jesus was no more or less important than anyone else who connects - or connected - with God. In other words, he might have been God-Ly but I think she means that in her view, he wasn't God, or any better than anyone else.

I think.

According to Hinduism, all those who are realized like Jesus or Buddha are same despite different names.

i died on jan. 27,1983. i was brought back to this world by doctors who i watched working on me. the place i went TO was PEACE, TOTAL AND COMPLETE, nothing on this earth comes close to that kind of peace, the only word close to the feeling. if that is heaven then i will welcome death when it comes knocking on my door,i am not afraid of death.god ,or whatever you call your spiritual being, gave me a glimpse of the other side. there is something else after life. whatever you call it, that peace is waiting to envelope you. i for one will be smiling when i die.

If - as I believe - this WAS a near-death experience, it confirms and backs up every other thing I have heard, seen and read on such experiences... all from different people, all completely unconnected, all of different races, colours and creeds:

The energy they encounter is entirely benign. there is no threat of punishment, no urgency or recommendation to 'repent and to accept Jesus as saviour', no admonishment or reproach. All there is is an overwhelming, all-encompassing feeling of total Love.

I saw a programme on TV some time ago, of a panel of world-wide scientists trying to find a logical, understandable and explainable reason for these experiences.

Nobody could offer anything.

Every time one of them seemed to offer a feasible explanation, someone elses's experience completely blew that theory out of the water. In the end, all these scientists, psychologists, psychiatrists, neurologists and brain surgeons had to admit it - something had definitely happened - but they had no way of explaining what.
