would it be possible to see a picture of the knit rug you mention in your e-mail. I am very interested but have no idea of what one would look like. also do you have instructions for knitting a rug.

Photos of some of my rugs can be obtained by leaving your message on the comments page. I will then forward them to you.

Please be specific about the particular rug that you want to see by referring to the article or describing the colors.

Instructions on how to knit these rugs can be obtained from articles in the archive. Click on "Archive" and see a list of articles.

The best way to contact me directly is through the comments page.

I too like knitted rugs. I am going to look on your archives to see if I can find them.

I have made a few myself. Not the norm tho. I used hay twine for my outdoor rug (which makes the best darn outdoor rug.) The other rug I made was for craft loops (pretty colors.)

Your more then welcome to see the ones I have made at

Hi Dora,

Thanks for the clip. That was a good demonstration by your 5-year old. He would be a good demonstrator and with newly acquired video skills it will be even better. Colorful and fun!

I am glad you found the information helpful.

I also took a quick look at the Amish Rug.

There is much to write about!

On my trip to New Orleans I met a weaving couple who have a studio and store there, surviving after Katrina.

An article will follow soon.

Thanks for your interest and for sharing yours.

Iris
