I've written up some instructions for Bobble Stitch (which is different to puff stitch and popcorn stitch). This can be found here . I just worked up a bag using this and I was very pleased with the results - the highly textured surface evened out any of my more random stitches!

Do let me know if there is anything unclear or if more (or less!) detail is required!

Thankyou for your input - I do value it!

Hi Kate,
the bobble stitch is very interesting. Your bobble stitch bag is a fine example to showcase the stitch. After reading your instructions I was a little unsure where to make the sc after making the 5 dc cluster. Should it be crocheted in the same stitch or in the stitch next to the cluster stitch.
Thanks for sahring.

I love the bobble stitch. It was in a pattern I used to make a wedding gift for some friends of mine last year

and I'm using it again in a pattern for a baby afghan for my new niece

That is a beautiful afghan - your work is very neat.

Ferosah - thankyou for the comment, I'll go back and have a look at the instructions. The SC should come after the 5 DC's and the fact it is shorter than the DC's pulls the bobble down and emphasises the 'lump'!

Kate,
Love the bobble stitch bag, do you have the pattern to share? Or know where I could get one similar?
Thanks!
