Iranian so proud of their history and now are so offended by movie of "300"

Now our government magnetizes this movie and wants to show us how much American are anti-Iranian. seems in that movie 300 Persian show as savages. We are too annoyed.

I understand how you feel. The producers and director of that movie should have been more sensitive to the feelings of other people. Anyway, that was just a movie so it's naturally exaggerated so that a lot of people would watch it.

Uh, they weren't Iranian, but Persians. The country of Iran didn't exist at the time. It's no more historically accurate than many other movies.

Yeah you right it's a movie and I guess first of all, director wanted to make money but many people think that it's because political achievement. USA policy tries to destroy our face and so on. Beside our Islamic government that so far was against our ancient history and some times even denied our civilization before Islam era, now every day shows some part of this movie and tries to compassion with folks.

Yeah right but I think, it's unsuitable movie for this time that we have sensitive and fragile situation between Iran and America.

For long time our foreign country name was Persia and even now some countries call us Persia too. But for us always was Iran. Iran means land of Aryan, although majority of Iran are Persian but we have some other nations too. unfortunately I'm a Persian! lol
