I travel - and live - in a 31-foot 5th wheel. For our first 8 months "on the road" we had a hard walled popup travel trailer -a Trailmanor. We chose a 5th wheel for our next home because we felt it was the most "livable" of the RV types.

We laugh and tell everyone we have a three level home - and when the screen room is attached it's 4 levels. Our "real world" dwelling friends get a kick out of that!!

How about you?

Hi Linda,

My husband and I hadn't been to a movie theater in years - and I mean years, last time we tried was a sold out Titanic - and some RVing friends we were staying with (in our RV in their driveway) wanted to go see RV. Hilarious!! I do have to say though, having an RVers perspective, the dump station scene was a little over the top, belive it or not, RVers are that friendly and helpful, and there is money to be made while traveling. What a world!!

E:>

PS - The theater experience has really evolved - what a pleasure it was!!

I love my 1980 Class C 21 foot Ford Ramblette. It's my "get away from life" car. Sure does cost a lot in gas, though.

But it's worth it, right?? We have a diesel truck and we keep waiting to for diesel prices to drop like gas prices have. Either way, we keep rolling!! Evanne

I travel in a '90 Toyota Sunrader with a my fat cat Max and anyone else who likes to rough it with me. Jill said it perfectly: it's my 'get away from life' wheels.....nothing like it for that light-hearted sense of freedom.

We live full-time in a 34' Bounder gasser. It's been almost a year, and we see no end to this life. It's the best!

Living full-time in 318 square feet.
(And yes, it gets great gas mileage for a house!)
Not all who wander are lost.
(Nor are all who wonder.)
