Over the past two weeks I have let a lot of negative thoughts creep into my mind and has resulted in the feeling of being lost. I'm working on my visualization again and trying to get back on track. Any suggestions, tips, tricks etc on how to remain in line with LOA. It's funny that I'm writing this because in the past when I have been centered I've read these types of posts and wondered how that person managed to get so off-centered. Well, now here I am.

I joined a yahoo LOA forum that's been helpful to me. I also have The Secret on audio book and listen to it frequently. I'd suggest to keep reading books by Wayne Dyer or other inspirational authors. Begin each day by writing down all the things you're grateful for and that you appreciate. Nothing raises your vibrations like gratitude!

Everybody gets "off" once in a while. You wouldn't be human if you didn't. The important part is your dominent thoughts. Listen to beautiful music, talk to a friend or pet your dog. Anything to get back a good feeling.

Also, try and look at the feeling you have. maybe it's trying to tell you something you need to pay attention to. Learn from it and go on.

Glad to see LOA mentioned in self-development! I think it can really help.

Hi,

Its easy to get off center, a thought , a smell, the wind of anothers e-emotions blowing through you. Matters not how you got there, just not staying there.
Switchwords help a lot, and there is a lot of info here about them.

Same here bryan. I've had to spend a lot of time indoors over the last few weeks, but I'm going back to nature as much as possible because I find that really helps me smile

Brian and Dusty Leaf,

This might sound a little nuts, but i've found that focusing on healing often makes it more elusive. When we become too aware of where we think we're falling short... whether it is mental focus or success or health or anything... then the problem appears larger than it is, and as adam mentioned above, we can attract more of it.

By all means get out of the house and focus on other things. Learn to love yourself as you are (wherever you're at today), you really are okay, you know! Chase the negative thoughts away by getting busy for a while. One of the best things i've learned is that you can't get happy by doing the things and thinking the kind of thoughts unhappy people do. So model what happy people do and what you have done when you are happy... don't think about mental focus and negativity... think about a good movie, a good meal, gardens springing to life, helping others, being silly and playful, work projects and such, and this lack of focus will pass more quickly.

Good luck!
