Have any of you that write ever been stuck in LA traffic during rush hour? Well, I have and thought to myself, if only one out of every hundred of these cars that are in my way would buy my book, I would be rich! I just got my first royalty check yesterday and it appeared to be missing a few zeros. Has anyone seen them? I was seriously considering inviting you all to dinner to help me celebrate but now it will have to wait until I check with Jesus about his schedule. It seems like I have to ask him to do one of those loaves and fishes tricks!

I've never been to LA, but I have received royalty checks. Yes...dismal.

I will never give up trying to market my book because I have had many women, who I don't even know, e-mail me about how much they enjoyed reading it. Some identified with the characters because they were married to corporate men. We all seem to be cut from the same cookie cutter! What have you written? If your checks were not what you hoped for, I can probably tell you the name of the publisher!
