Good morning everyone! Very new user. I'm sure this question is somewhee on here, but I couldn't find how to search properly.
I have very long, very colored very dry hair. What is everyone's favorite moisturizing product? My hair is really suffering from the winter, this time of year it's nearly impossible to keep it hydrated. I don't color it during the winter, just put a lot of streaks in it in autumn to carry me over. I do 1 in trims every month, use pantene moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, style with a flat iron but use alot of serum and lotion to protect it. My hair doesn't look that bad but I can tell its really getting dry. I flat iron it 3 times a week, as well as wash, condition three times a week. Thanks!

Moisturising conditioners and leave-in conditioners are the first things that come to my mind. Also, you could consult a hairdresser and ask them which specific products they use for handling dry hair and which shampoo's and conditioners are developed specifically for dry hair.

Since you mentioned coloring, it could mean that your dry hair is the result of the coloring process and the flat-ironing.

Don't think of perming your hair if you would ever consider it, not good for people with dry hair, and especially not when it's already colored.

Hope this helps. smile

Guess what? I give massages and reiki. More info here!

I would say your problem is with Pantene. The main ingrediant is somewhat harsher then some other shampoos. For very dry hair I think INFUSIUM works great.
