My daughters income comes from the government SSI because she can no longer work which in turn her medical insurance also comes from the government, which covers the coat of her medications, and doctors,
I was going to say in the US, if a person doesn't have private insurance or the ability to pay, many can get Medicaid and Medicare through SS AABD (or SSI) or a state programs. Some drug companies also offer their meds to low-income or those people who cannot afford their medications through PPA programs. I get PPA for my asthma medications in addition to another med I am on that costs well over 500 a month.
