I had the weirdest dream last night. I was wet-nursing someone else's baby. I didn't like it at all - in fact, I was repulsed by it. I kept thinking, "thank god this isn't mine!" I was under the impression that I was wet-nursing to convince me that I wanted children! (Of course, in order to wet-nurse, I would have had to had a baby myself, but luckily, logic doesn't always play into dreams!) Also, it really hurt. Maybe the way I was sleeping was squashing my boob or something, but I kept thinking "won't this kid be done already!"

I woke up in the worst mood.

Then I went to www.chicagotribune.com and there is an article right there saying "she breastfed my baby!" about how apparently some moms think it's okay to breadfeed other people's babies ... ? Why would anyone think that's okay? Anyway ... anyone ever have weird dreams like this?

It's amazing what dreams can accomplish for us. I've had the strangest and most illogical dreams in the past - things that can never happen in the real world.

My weardest dream was solving a work-related problem that I'm sure I could never do while awake - there were too many variables to keep track of.

I've had baby dreams, too. I'm always confused during them, like "How did THIS happen?!" I'm also very relieved when I wake up.

I've never had a breastfeeding dream (or nightmare, if you wish...), but I did have a weird one a few months ago. My husband was out trolling for a hooker to impregnate. He'd pull up to the curb, and lean out the window, asking if she'd like to get herself in the family way. The next day, I told him about it, and he was throughly disgusted.

We joke about it sometimes, now.

I've had dreams in which I actually give birth. I blame too many discovery channel/history channel/learning channel programs! I woke up in a cold sweat, very relieved that it wasn't real!
