Who, as a general rule, has more hair: Blondes, Brunettes or Redheads ?
I asked this question in today's newsletter (2/16) and will post the answer next week before the next newsletter is sent. Please post your comments here.
Most women I've seen that have the longest, most thick hair are brown haired women. I do a lot of "field work" and I noticed this a lot. I'm jealous at them and that explained why I colored my hair dark brown a for a while.
Statisticly, blondes have more hair per square inch. I know that is surprising. Often blondes have fine, limp hair, making it look like they have less.
You probably know best. I was going by people I know. I know several redheads and they all have such thick hair they have to have it thinned in order to manage any kind of style. I wish I had that problem.
Another statistic that you will find hard to believe -- redheads have the fewest hairs per square inch !
I think that it is because many redheads have coarse hair with lots of body. It looks like they have a ton of hair and often need it thinned for controle but actually each hair takes up more room than a fine hair.
coarse hair = large in circumferance fine hair = small in circuferance
