HI,
Thanks mavis for your info.I just got off the phone with the vet(said there not experienced in the birding field)Anyway they said to keep the male seperated from the parents incase there is a virus that killed the female.I tell you she was healthy.Anyway the male is soooo lonely in the cage by himself.But if i put him in with the parents mom will chase him.I want to get another bird friend for him,but i just don`t know what to do.

Unless you can find an avian vet in your area, you're not apt to get any real information about birds from a regular vet.

I wouldn't be real concerned about a virus. You had the parents for some time & these babies for some time, so any virus that the baby could have come in contact would have also been exposed to the rest of your birds as well.

I wouldn't put the remaining one back in with the parents because of the new babies. Have you looked for breeders of these birds in your area to see if you could find a cage mate? Even just having his cage close to the parents & their new babies would give him some company though.
