Hello Nikki,

I bet you have a busy life sharing your time with all your pets. I have a meyers also. Mine is a 9 year old female named Miss P. I am mom to a blue and gold macaw, Hannah and a canary, Cricket. I currently have 1 child at home, Steven who is 11. We share our space with August and Walter, great danes and Daisy, a sheltie. We are moving to Oklahoma in 6 days. It will be a busy time for us! I am looking forward to getting to know you better and hearing stories about your pets!

Hi Nikki & welcome back. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

You've certainly got a wide variety of pets in your household.

I'd love to see some pictures if you've got a place to put them online to link to.

Connie - are you all packed yet. Hope the move goes well!

Mavis, my husband is gone during the week and comes home on the weekend and so yesterday he told me just to pack the entire kitchen and me and Steven could eat out the few days we have left here. So he was a big help yesterday. We are going to get as much packed as we can today also and then I can work on doing some cleaning (like the shower/tub, oven, that kind of thing) done the last few days.

I took Hannah on a madien voyage in her carrier the other day. Walter had to go to the vet (I swear he has a crush on her, we have to go at least once a week!!) and so Hannah got to go along. My vet had never seen such a large bird. She said she had clipped parakeets and cockatiels before, but that was her only experience with birds. So everyone ohhed and ahhed over Hannah and said how pretty she was.

My mother-in-law is having a big Thanksgiving dinner so that will be the day before we close and it will be nice to get together with family and have a relaxing supper!
