Hi I am just learning how to tat and I am enjoying it very much. I am looking for some simple patterns that are not very big. I like to work with small things right now . I have been making cross book marks.

I just took my first tatting lesson this past weekend.. have spent all week trying to get the joins correct! But I think I'm getting them whipped finally

The book I picked up was The Big Book of Tatting by House of White Birches. It's got some very easy and fun patterns in there Good luck!

I have been tatting 58 years, and I am so tickled to see new tatters so enthusiastic about tatting. Keep that shuttle flying!
