I am not worked up. Logic doesn't frighten me. Take me on. I dare you.

Have you noticed that religious zealots also love to fight. This one sounds a bit like the shrub saying, 'Bring it on!' And he is a zealot as well.

I am not a zealot. Zealots were a Jewish religious sect from the times of Jesus. But I do love a good debate!

Hey lovelove. I am quite sure she was referring to this definition of Zealot: (n) partisan, zealot, drumbeater (a fervent and even militant proponent of something).

LL, you cannot be debated at all because you are not open to any other ideas except your own. So any conversation with you is not a debate but a louder and louder try by you to change others to your way of thinking.

Skeptic, thanks for letting LL know that there is more than one meaning of zealot and I did not capitalize my word.

Perhaps you are an atheist zealot? Depends upon your perspective, huh?

The only thing I'm saying here, even while acknowledging that saying only this one thing opens up the idea that I have been defeated, is that I never said a rhinoceros is ugly. I'm quite fond of them, actually. That wasn't the point.

As for the rest of it, it's true that there is a good deal of God Loves You's response I have no way to answer, but that certainly isn't because I didn't have a point and can't back it up. I've just tried enough to see the good it does. (And that most definitely doesn't mean I expect to convert anyone. I don't. I'm referring to misinterpreting and misunderstanding thing.)

If you cannot answer then you have more thinking to do.

Actually, I think you just proved my point.

Yes, Jenna, I think so too...

"I love a good debate" in Lovelove's mind, in this particular case, seems to mean, '
" you may have your opinion, but you are wrong, because i know the Truth, and any amount of logical, straightfoward, factual and sensibly based discussion will not deter me from continuing to say - without foundation, proof or expansion - that you should all see things my way. Because I sure heck as won't give an inch to permit me to accept any part of your way of thinking, no matter how logical you may be."

IMO.
