I loved this book soooo much as a kid, I am excited to see they're making a real movie out of it finally. The trailer brings back good memories of how much I loved the story - anyone else seen it?

Yep, seen the trailer. I think it'll be cute for kids and bring back some memories for some of us older folks. I remember one of my elementary school teachers reading this book to us.

It's such a good story - I love the friendship between Jess and Leslie, and I just love Leslie generally. The kids they cast in the movie look like I'd always pictured the characters. I just know it's going to totally make me cry (the book did).

I read that the guy that wrote the movie is actually the son of the woman that wrote the book - so I bet that means that it'll be really true to the story.

The beauty of Bridge to Terabithia was always about the friendship, and that aspect remains the focal point of the film as well.
