Ok, its all good, heh, my forum name wasn't supposed to be Grell though! I must have switched something in my registration, funny 'cause I think I put the name I wanted in for my Log in. Anyway, who knows, all I know is that I've got the postin' going on! By the way, my border collie's name is Grell.
So, yeah, why am I posting here...pretty much looking for contact with other child-frees. I am 26 and live in rural British Columbia (about 50 km from a town of 40,000)with my husband and two dogs. I moved here 2 years ago from Montreal, pretty much looking for a place to have my own garden as a motivator. Well, its a longer story than that but to keep it short we packed the car, hit the road and drove across Canada, then a year later bought an old shack of a house that we thought hey, that could be livable! So its been a cool experience but back to the topic at hand and why I am writing this...everyone here has kids and me and my hubby are turning out a bit odd in that I haven't popped one out yet.
Everyone (which ain't many people...ahhh, freaked by small communityness vs. big city anonymity) is asking me "the question". Me and Bri are not keen on having kids for a few different reasons and are solid in our decision together. Still though it is hard, I am a very mutable person and feel the judgement and wonder of others, I know I shouldn't care, and am strong, but I do admit this is tough. Plus having girlfriends, interesting to be on the side of not qualifying for the baby-cred club.
Ok, enough, so this is me, I hope to post other topics about things related to this that are revealing themselves in my world.
