My Great grandfather was a Jew, who because of a family dispute vowed all his offspring would be christians. He was a money lender and pub owner in London in the 1800's. My question is how can i find out about my jewish ancestry? I don't know where to start as i know so little about him and absolutely nothing about his family at all when he cut them off he did it well.

Since your grandfather's proclaimation to follow chritianity it is MOSt probabble that the entire family was dismissed from the linage to be considered should grandfathers name arise.

It may be possible to trace the family line through the mother of the grandfather. Still, the branch of Judaism MOSTlikely to embrace your quest would be REFORM.
