Those who think of themselves as not beautiful develop inferiority. Our society gives a lot of importance to beauty and that may be causing lot of heart to these people. Can such perception be changed?

It will never be changed. As long as I can remember there has been women's magazines showing beautiful women, such as singers, actress's etc. We do forget that they have professional help with their appearance and now adays computer help as well.

I don't think in the real word the average person thinks they are beautiful, we all have got one good asset though that we are proud of. Mine are my nails, people often ask me are they false but I am lucky to have strong nails that keep growing.

Another point if people think they are beautiful I tend to think they are vain. Beauty comes from the inside.

Good friends are like stars. You don't always see them
but you always know they are there.

All the celebrities must look good. very few are accepted if they are not good looking. Why? No body is looking at the qualities of heart and mind. It is all flesh.

Not all the time sweety. We have to accept the fact that there will always be people who are far greater and lesser than we are, physically.

Weeellll...it's all about money. A wealthy woman in the U.S. is more "attractive" than a poor one. An example would be Paris Hilton. If she were a poor model trying to get on a magazine cover, with exactly the same looks, I doubt she would have gotten anywhere at all.

In the "old" society model, women's looks were more important because they didn't have money. A woman's looks *were* her money, something she could sell, along with her housekeeping skill set.

The more money women have, the less important their looks will be.

You mean to say that attraction is either money or looks? If one has no looks but ample money, she will still attract men?

In the U.S., heck yeah. I find the men here are quite mercenary...maybe that's too strong a word. But they're quite conscious about how much money a woman has. Imo, they would choose a richer woman over a better-looking one, any day of the week.
